The cell functions with the objective of providing students a platform to voice their issues related to academic, administrative, or personal matters in a structured and responsible manner. OBJECTIVES
  • To create an approachable and student-friendly environment for grievance redressal.
  • To ensure that students' concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • To uphold the dignity of students by ensuring a fair and impartial resolution of grievances.
  • To maintain a conducive learning environment free from any form of discrimination or unfair practices.

PROCEDURE FOR FILING A GRIEVANCE

Students of Assam Women's University, Jorhat can submit their grievances:

  1. Either filling the google form given in the following link. (https://forms.gle/h3XuicVK7N8DdGys6)
  2. Students can also submit their grievances in writing or via email to the designated grievance cell email ID at sgrc@awu.ac.in
  3. The grievance will be reviewed by the committee, and necessary action will be initiated within a stipulated time frame
  4. If needed, the concerned student(s) may be called for further discussion to resolve the issue
  5. The final decision and resolution will be communicated to the student(s) in a timely and confidential manner

CONFIDENTIALITY & FAIRNESS

The Students' Grievance Redressal Cell ensures that all complaints are handled with the utmost confidentiality and fairness. Retaliation against any student for filing a grievance is strictly prohibited.
