About Assam Women's University Alumni Association (AWUAA)
The Alumni Association of Assam Women’s University (AWUAA) was established in 2022.The primary motive the association is to serve as a bridge between the past and present, strengthening the bond between alumni and their alma mater while contributing to the growth and success of both current and former students.
Vision
- Networking Oppotunities: Alumni associations offer a venue for former students to get in touch and network. Through networking, one may develop worthwhile interpersonal and professional links as well as find employment and mentorship chances.
- Support for current students: Alumni associations frequently play a significant role in helping current students. They might provide financial aid, grants, or scholarships to help students continue their study. Alumni can also assist current students or offer career advice to ease their move into the workforce.
- Events and Reunions: Alumni organisations routinely plan occasions, get-togethers, and reunions to reconnect former students. Alumni can use these occasions to remember their past experiences together and make new ones.
- Professional Development: To help its members develop their professional abilities, several alumni associations hold workshops, seminars, or webinars. These gatherings may emphasize leadership development, professional advancement, or understanding of a certain business.
- Fundraising and Giving Back: To assist the organization they attended, many alumni associations hold fundraising events. Donations from alumni might be used to upgrade buildings, create academic programs, or help underprivileged students.
