  • It is for general information of all concerned that Director of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has developed a web portal to generate Unique ID for aspiring students seeking Online Admission for the academic session 2020-21 in various institutions. The aspiring students are requested to generate their Unique ID from the DHE web portal http://dheonlineadmission.amtron.in/sp/ even if they already have filled up the admission form.

  • Candidates are requested to visit the University website from time to time.
  • Download the Anti-Ragging formats for both Student as well as Parent. This is required at the time of Admission.
  • Payment of fees has been waived for academic session 2020-21 as per instructions given by Director of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam vide Notification No. PC/HE/SOPD/11/2020/10 dated 17th June, 2020. However, following Self-Financed Programmes are exempted from this fee waiver scheme.

  • Download the Notification regarding cancellation of above Self-Financed Programmes for Academic Session 2020-21.

Guidelines for filling up the Application

IMPORTANT! Payment of Admission fees have been waived as per Govt. of Assam instructions. However, Self-Financed Programmes are exempted from this fee waiver scheme.
  • Ensure that you have a valid Mobile Number.
  • Ensure that you have an active Email ID (preferably Google Account - GMail).
  • Ensure that you have generated your Unique ID from the Director of Higher Education, Assam web portal.
  • Ensure that you have the following files ready to be uploaded
    1. Screenshot / Scanned copy of your DHE generated Unique ID Receipt, if available (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    2. Scanned copy of your passport size photograph (in JPG/PNG format under 1 MB.)
    3. Scanned copy of your signature (in JPG/PNG format under 1 MB.)
    4. Scanned copy of your Caste Certificate, if you are claiming General(EWS)/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST(P)/ST(H) reserved seats (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    5. Additionally, a scanned copy of your Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate is required, if you are claiming OBC reserved seats (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    6. Scanned copy of your Medical Fitness Certificate, if available (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    7. Scanned copy of your Class 10 Admit Card (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    8. Scanned copy of the Class 10 Marksheet (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    9. Scanned copy of the Class 10 Pass Certificate, if available (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    10. Scanned copy of the Class 10+2 Marksheet (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    11. Scanned copy of the Class 10+2 Pass Certificate, if available (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
  • If you are applying for PG Programme, following additional document(s) are required
    1. Scanned copy of the Graduation Marksheet (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)
    2. Scanned copy of the Graduation Provisional / Pass Certificate, if available (in JPG/PNG/PDF format under 10 MB.)

Step by Step Instructions for Online Application

Step 1
Abide by the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page.
Step 2
Kindly fill the details VERY CAREFULLY, because forms once submitted can not be edited later.
Step 3
Click the appropriate Apply here button at the bottom of this page.
Step 4
It is mandatory to give your Email Address, then select the programme level.
Step 5
UG / PG Programmes section: Here you need to select the programme, you are applying for.
Step 6
Personal Details-I section: Here you need to provide the Name of the Candidate, your DHE generated Unique ID, Upload the DHE generated Unique ID Screenshot / Receipt (this is optional while applying), Upload Candidate's Passport size photo, Upload Candidate's Signature, Date of Birth, Nationality, Religion and Category
Step 7
Based on the Category that you have selected you will be redirected to next section. If you select General you will be redirected to Personal Details-II section, otherwise you will be redirected to Category specific section(s) where you will be asked to upload your specific category certificate(s) (this is optional while applying).
Step 8
Personal Details-II section: Here you need to provide your Marital Status, Mother Tongue, Address for Communication, Permanent Address, Mobile Number, Father's / Guardian's Name, Occupation of Father / Guardian, Mother's Name, Occupation of Mother, Annual Family Income, Are you applying for Hostel Accommodation and the Medical Certificate (this is optional while applying).
Step 9
Class 10 Academic Performance section: Here you need to provide the Board / University Name from where you passed, Name of the Institution, Year of Passing, Percentage / CGPA scored along with these information, you are required to upload your Class 10 Admit Card, Marksheet and Pass Certificate (this is optional while applying).
Step 10
Class 10+2 Academic Performance section: Here you need to select the Stream (Arts / Commerce / Science) and provide the Board / University Name from where you passed, Name of the Institution, Year of Passing, Percentage / CGPA scored along with these information, you are required to upload your Class 10+2 Marksheet and Pass Certificate (this is optional while applying).
Step 11
This section is for candidate's applying PG Programmes only. Graduation Academic Performance section: Here you need to provide the Name of the Programme, Board / University Name from where you passed, Name of the Institution, Year of Passing, Percentage / CGPA scored along with these information, you are required to upload your Graduation Marksheet and Pass Certificate (this is optional while applying).
Step 12
Once you submit, a copy of the filled-up Application form will be sent to your Email, Kindly download it for future references.
